Welcome to Artwheel!
Art Wheel is a studio with a focus in clay for people of all ages to enjoy creativity regardless as to skill or level of experience. We have a flexible attitude that meets the needs of all guests.
We are a 1 minute walk from the Imperial Beach Lifeguard Station (at Pier Plaza in I.B.). So, you can include a hand-building project in a beach adventure day. Or you can practice on the potter's wheel and then take a walk on the beach or get a coffee at the Pier after a visit to Art Wheel. You could also watch birds or admire nature at the Tijuana Estuary (which has trails just 3 blocks from Art Wheel) and then etch these images onto your own hand-made tile.
Our ocean garden outdoor studio is blessed by lovely breezes during fair weather. And our indoor studio, complete with hearth, is cozy during colder days.
